More Details

This OLED display module has the similar screen size of the 0.96” one. But it has a lower resolution of 128 x 32 pixels, while the 0.96” has 128 x 64.

It emits its own light without a backlight. Therefore, it uses less power and is thinner than the LCD. And that is why it has such a high contrast ratio. Its high contrast makes them easy to read.

Driver IC SSD1306 provides an I2C interface. The connector only needs 3 pins to talk with the built-in chip.

The easy-to-use I2C interface so you can drive it easily in an Arduino project.

Remember that OLED displays have thousands of OLEDs. Each pixel is a little organic LED. It will start to dim if it stays on for more than 1000 hours.

If you want the display always to be the same brightness, please turn off the display (set the pixels off) when you don’t need it.

The power consumption depends on how many pixels are on. On average, it uses about 20mA on the 3.3V supply.

The OLED driver has a simple switch-cap charge pump that turns 3.3v-5v into a high-voltage drive for the OLEDs. This is one of the easiest ways to add an OLED to your project.
